Although both of Cliff Lee's starts have come against Oakland, he has been dominating to say the least, having allowed only one run over 14 innings pitched. he has had excellent control with a 0.48 Whip, while allowing opposing teams to hit only .125 against him. He will be opposed by Francisco Liriano of Minnesota. Reports state that Liriano has lost some velocity on his fastball, which may account for a .333 BAA against and a 7.71 ERA in his first start of the season.
